Marine Surveys in Kent

A brief bio ... . Skipper.jpg

My story

I have been involved with boats from a young age through my father's profession in the Merchant Navy and, later, a Delivery Skipper. Some say I'm more at home on a boat than on land!

I have cruised extensively in the UK, Mediterranean, through the French canals and rivers, the Baltic and worked in the Norwegian fishing industry. I have also completed two Atlantic crossings as crew and engineer.

After this period, the opportunity arose for me to assist my uncle in his Marine Engineering and Surveying business and the rest, as they say, is history. My initial training period was 8 years to include assisting boat builders which helped broaden my professional skill set - I believe there is no substitute for practical experience - after which I felt ready to establish my own marine surveying consultancy.
